NEW YORK, NY – Friday, September 5, 2008
Mar Jennings has been named Fashion Expert and correspondent for Better.TV for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York from September 5-12, 2008.
Mar is delighted to be “in the tents” at Bryant Park. “It’s a dream come true, I’ve always loved the fast moving fashion industry; reporting on it validates my love of clothing and accessories.”
He is scheduled to interview many top designers and stylists, including Pamela Roland, Jill Stewart, Carolina Herrera, Nicole Miller, plus many others. Celebrities will also get face-time with Mar, kicking off with actress Eva Longoria.
Mar will also spend time in the private areas reserved for viewers. As a fashion aficionado himself, he is excited about interviewing as many as possible of the shoppers who attend, from retailers to socialites.
Mar’s wardrobe this week will be enhanced with selected pieces provided by the incredible John Varvatos.
With Mar Jennings covering New York Fashion Week for Better.TV, getting the inside scoop on Spring 2009 won’t be only for those with connections and front-row seats.
