Gratitude is my word of the week.
MAR’s is abuzz with a recent development, and I’ve had an aMARzing week with this exciting news. My brand is about the very best things in life and lifestyle. Lately, the trajectory has been staggering. You’ve heard about my new talent agent at Swoon, but have you heard about my recent relocation.too? I’ve officially moved my Lifestyle Realtor brand to Douglas Elliman – the New York Metro area’s largest residential brokerage firm.
While I will miss everyone at my prior brokerage, I absolutely love everyone at Elliman’s CT head office in Greenwich. The Douglas Elliman brand is on point with my Casual Luxury Lifestyle philosophy. I’m so excited to be solidifying Elliman’s Connecticut presence with my fantastic Lifestyle Realtor Team. “We are ecstatic to welcome Mar and his team to the Douglas Elliman family,” says Roberto Vannucchi, Executive Vice President, Connecticut. I feel exactly the same way.
Here’s a small taste of what I’ve experienced this week: Yesterday I joined members of the team at the American Gold Cup in North Salem, NY. It’s one of the most prestigious and iconic equestrian sporting events in the world of International Horse Jumping. Elliman is one of the sponsors, alongside such luminaries as Hermès, Longines, and a “stable” of other global brands. It was a terrific opportunity to meet new colleagues and be inspired by our surroundings.
Douglas Elliman is my kind of place. It’s upmarket but approachable, and detail oriented but not trifling. The brokerage firm is the best at what they do which is why they have been so successful for so long. Douglas Elliman was established in 1911 and boasts more than 6,000 agents. (I am proud to be among them.) There are 81 offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, New Jersey, Long Island, the Hamptons and Northfork, Westchester, Greenwich, South Florida, Colorado and Beverly Hills.
As before, I am continuing with TV appearances, makeover projects, personal appearances and more in addition to real estate. I love that I get to do what I love and love what I do. That’s why it’s so important to have such a great team.
