Hello to all my MARtians out there. I have so much to tell you about the latest and greatest up here on Mar’s. The MARtian air is electric after my exhilarating, white-hot celebrity interview, the second installment of my Home Makeover Series and last but not least, only the hottest garden event of the season.
I’m just coming off a serious high after my aMARzing experience in New York City on Monday covering a tourism event as a lifestyle journalist. Life on Mar’s has been taken to a completely new dimension. The event was held at the glittering 21 Club with the remarkable Robert DeNiro as the headliner. Guess who spent quality time interviewing the superstar? That’s right, this guy!
There was no time to bask in the afterglow of meeting the legendary DeNiro, as I had to get right to work with the help of my new assistant Lauren, and my intern Tova. Together we are making great headway on lots of exciting things coming up, in particular the second installment of the Home Makeover Show, shooting at Green Isle. (We’re busy working on all the future episodes, too.)
The episode will feature all the outdoor spaces that have been transformed from ordinary to MARvelous. You will see the fun and playful side of Casual Luxury come out with the new pergola area, the stunning sundeck and the rooftop living spaces. This show going to give everyone great ideas for summer living so don’t forget to tune on June 6th at 1:00 pm on WTNH.
And finally two charity garden tours back-to-back next weekend. On Saturday, June 13th the gardens are on the Garden Conservancy’s National Open Days program from noon-4pm. The Westport Historical Society‘s annual Hidden Garden Tour is on Sunday, June 14 from 11am-4pm.
