It’s Standing Room Only on MARS

My assistant and I are happily exhausted, thanks to relocating so many extra chairs into conference room 12 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. You will be thrilled to know I have added to our ranks, with many new recruits to the MARtian army.  All thanks to record-breaking audiences at the 35th Annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show. Sunday, I will be speaking at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. If you have not joined us, you still have time to walk, talk, laugh and learn.

I have so much to tell you my dear MARtians! I am not sure where to begin, and there is still another day to go.

This is the second year in a row that I have been requested to headline the even, and what an event it has been! In my seminar, I welcome avid gardeners to take a private virtual tour of my home and gardens at the aptly dubbed Rosebrook Gardens – even Violet, my chatty Schnauzer, Skypes in to say hello!

I’m so energized by all the positive feedback and incredible people I’m meeting. A dear fan and MARtian, Tuesday Warley, surprised me with a thoughtful gift. How did she know that Union Jack socks would be the only socks I could possibly wear? (As you know, I never wear socks otherwise.) These Joe Boxer’s are a perfect companion to my English garden.

If that’s not enough for you, never fear! I’m still working hard on your behalf to bring you wonderful new episodes and a new season of “Life on Mar’s: The Home Makeover Show.”

I am doing what I love and loving what I do! I highly recommend it!
