AmericasMart is the nation’s leading gift, home furnishings and lifestyle marketplace and the largest trade mart/tradeshow complex of its kind in the world. It is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary year, and when it hosts the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, July 13-20, I’ll be there for sure!
I was delighted to be invited to be part of the celebration so I’m arriving on Saturday, July 16th – not only to prepare, but to meet award-winning architectural and interior designer Vern Yip (who most of you know from HGTV), as he introduces his designs for Burnes of Boston’s new line of Burnes Interiors. Later, I’ll enjoy the city with my assistant as we discover Atlantic together.
My lecture is on Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. That said, with my new book Life On Mar’s, Creating Casual Luxury Room By Room now scheduled to launch in 2012, this is a wonderful opportunity for me to showcase a new lecture series that gives attendees the insight and creative design solutions as to how “Rosebrook Gardens” gained national recognition. I’ll be giving away all my “casual luxury” home and garden secrets as well as sharing my reasons, actions and design principles.
If attendees don’t have my best selling book Life On Mar’s, A Four Season Garden, it will be available that day thanks to our friends at Barnes & Noble. (Not attending in Atlanta? The book is available for order through any Barnes & Noble location across the US, too.)
This weekend I get to do something I love: use my fun and comprehensive lecture to show others how to take indoor design ideas and incorporate them into outdoor living spaces, room by room. I can’t wait to see everyone there.
