If you’re ready to get into the holiday spirit and looking for the hottest tree festival in town, look no more. The 17th annual Tree Festival is kicking off at Lounsbury House (shown) in Ridgefield, CT, on November 19th with a champagne preview party. The events continue through to the 22nd of November. This 34-year old tree festival will have everything you need to get in the spirit. The brightest and most exciting tree designs, gift ideas, decorating inspiration…and me!
Several designers will show their talents and decorate 44 gorgeous trees to perfection. All will be on display in a beautiful winter wonderland setting that harkens back to days of yore. And guess who they asked to be a tree design judge?
Why, little old me. Of course, I could not miss it!
I’ll be sharing duties with Mary Harold. She is co-president of Ridgefield Guild of Artists, and Theresa Santoro, President, and CEO of Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association. The tree judging will be difficult due to the fierce competition. Somehow, I will have to select the best of the best. Categories will include “Best In Show”, “Most Original,” and “Best Use of Color.”
MARtians, I sure hope you’ll come and check it out! I’ll be judging the trees on November 19th, but the party will continue until November 22nd – and beyond in our hearts. This is such a special event that benefits the Loundsbury House, and it is being sponsored by the inimitable Ridgefield Prime. (In fact, if you visit them you can enter to win a family pack of 4 tickets.)
