Tis the season for love, joy and celebration of life, good health, and those people we love. Here at Rosebrook Gardens the holidays season has always been a time for acknowledgment and appreciation for those closest to our hearts. We may say “MARry” Christmas as a fun, tongue in cheek play of words, but the meaning is very much the same. That said, the yearly celebrations began right after the first of December with lush holiday décor, weekly dinner parties and live entertainment. And of course, Rosebrook Gardens becomes the center stage for it all.
Those lucky enough to have the coveted invite, cherish the invitation knowing it will be a festive night to remember. Truth be told, these holiday gatherings are a wonderful time to embrace our friendship and acknowledge our many, many blessings and as we plan for the New Year we feel a sense of gratitude for the beauty around us, each other, loyal friendships and of course those who we have loved and lost.
One magical way I solidify the spirit of Christmas and the holiday festivities is hiring Connecticut Yuletide Carolers for each gathering. Traditionally garbed Victorian Carolers, they fill Rosebrook Gardens with the bright sounds of the season, bringing holiday cheer to all who join me on these special nights. The Connecticut Yuletide Carolers make my Christmas celebrations an experience to remember for years to come.
