Hello my MARtians!
Yesterday we were thrilled to read that LIFE ON MAR’S; The Home Makeover Show season three was nominated for two Emmys®! Bring us up to a total of seven nominations for the entire show since our first episode just four years ago.
What an accomplishment and testament to the dedicated team members and of course our viewers and followers. We are sincerely honored and blessed to represent Connecticut in such a proud way.
Truth be told, as the creator and host of the show I always think about what we’re going to do next. But not long ago I reminisced about when the original concept was to do a simple three-episode special highlighting a local Westport home.
From the beginning we knew we were on to something special, never seen before. Especially as it was a show that featured local artisans, services and products. A recipe for success that has continued throughout the series, and which brought us on an incredible journey.
It’s astonishing being an Emmy® nominated personality with a TV Show; it’s remarkable and noteworthy but the talents and gifts of those involved and dedicated to the show really are the winners regardless of the nominations.
As my team and I accept these nominations we also accept them for the dozens of supporters and vendors that make this all possible. You all know who you are and have my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude (and that of everyone in our small production company.) These partnerships and friendships are critical and wonderful. If and when we win it will be for all of us!
