So Excited

Hello my MARvelous MARtians!

Spring has finally arrived, and, while the sun is shining across the region, team Mar has been busy coordinating fabulous events and adventures that will be exciting and lots of fun. California here I come! San Diego and Los Angeles, that is, as “Team Mar” relocates for 9 days in May on special assignment. The Palomar Hotel, located in downtown San Diego, will be Mar Central – and we love referring to it as the PalaMAR!

California is a wonderful place to be in the Spring. Needless to say, when I was asked if I would consider doing a morning show and some local book signings and personal appearances I quickly said, yes!  But not without securing some time on the schedule for a little down time and sight-seeing.

This week we also announced that I will be headlining this year’s third annual Vine & Vignettes fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, May 31, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. I’m so excited to join Vines & Vignettes and I cannot wait to see this year’s garden fantasy come to life. This one-of-a-kind experience will be held on the estate of the historic Chimneys mansion, located in the heart of Black Rock, CT. And for those garden enthusiasts like me, there will be plenty of inspiring and beautify displayed vignettes to feast on and get inspired from. My videographer and I will be shooting the event so please come and say hello.

And finally: yesterday I was featured in the Connecticut Post, talking about my new book Life on Mar’s: Creating Casual Luxury. I must thank my buddy John Burgeson who visited Rosebrook Gardens not too long ago to interview view me for the piece.

So Spring arrived this week with such a colorful rainbow of activities and announcements I think it must have been in Technicolor! Although the photo is from a lecture I did in Florida in October, it sums up how I’m feeling right now! We have lots of great news to come, so I hope you’ll continue to tune in and share all these wonderful events happening at Life On Mar’s.
